Can I connect this to a standard 12V car battery?
No. This is strictly a 24V DC system. Connecting it to a 12V battery will result in a low voltage alarm and the unit will not power on. You must use a 24V battery bank (e.g., two 12V batteries in series or a native 24V battery).
Why does the back of the unit have two sets of positive and negative terminals?
Because 5000W generates a massive amount of current. For any usage exceeding 4000W, both sets of positive and negative cables must be securely connected to the terminals simultaneously to prevent cables from overheating and ensure safe power delivery.
Can it run an air conditioner or a microwave?
Absolutely. With 5000W continuous and 10000W surge power, it easily handles the high starting currents of air conditioners, microwaves, and electric stoves simultaneously.
Does it have a digital display?
